Location: Lincolnshire, Derbyshire, and Yorkshire regions


Contract: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday


Salary: Up to £40,000 (competitive package, including pension, house, and company vehicle)


Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Agricultural Manager (Poultry) to support contracted production farms in maintaining high technical and compliance standards. This role is integral in ensuring farms produce efficient, high-quality poultry while prioritising animal welfare and meeting customer requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong working relationships with contracted farms and ensure their adherence to sourcing and compliance standards.

  • Provide technical support throughout the production cycle, ensuring bird welfare and performance targets are met.

  • Monitor farm operations to ensure KPIs are achieved and technical performance is maximised.

  • Advise and assist farmers in handling livestock and reviewing bird performance.

  • Manage and coordinate individuals to maintain smooth operations across farms.

  • Address challenges professionally and communicate effectively at all levels.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical agricultural support role or a relevant third-level qualification in agriculture or a food-related field.

  • Proven expertise in broiler growing or field management.

  • Knowledge of Red Tractor compliance standards.

  • Experience in people management and resolving conflicts effectively.

  • Proficient in managing diaries and organisational tasks.

  • Clean driving licence.
