About the Role:
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at a major construction project in Bridgwater. In this role, you will support the Quality Assurance Area Lead in ensuring that project quality requirements are understood and implemented, effectively meeting client and statutory obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop standards, incorporating lessons learned and best practices
Conduct training sessions related to quality assurance
Perform audits and drive quality improvements
Review documentation to ensure compliance with quality standards
Manage nonconformities and implement corrective actions
Write and update quality procedures
Essential Experience:
Significant experience in quality assurance roles
Experience on major construction projects
Background in highly regulated environments (e.g., oil and gas, nuclear)
Qualifications:
ONC/HNC/HND in an engineering discipline
Membership of the Chartered Quality Institute
IRCA auditor training

Additional Information:
This role operates on a full-time basis, with a four-day week every other week, based at our site in Bridgwater. A secondment allowance and accommodation are available for candidates residing more than two hours from the site.
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve a minimum of BPSS security clearance for this role.
